The rolled rails enable the bottom surface area of the board to be as big as possible, enabling earlier planning and more equal volume distribution. The hard edges help water release more efficiently, reducing drag. The flatter rocker helps the board to plane quicker with the assistance of the Foil Drive system. There is a subtle tail kick, which helps keep it out of the way when you are pumping up, or taking off. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eBOTTOM:\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSubtle rounded V into flat midsection. The subtle V at the front helps the board on touchdowns, it won’t immediately stick and bog. We have a concave deck to get the rider as close to the foil as possible while maintaining the volume needed. It's a soft concave without any drastic edges so it doesn't trap water on the deck after takeoff.
