Foil Drive - Two vs Three Blade propellors
Two Blade vs Three Blade Propellers – Which Should You Choose?
Choosing the right propeller can make a big difference to your ride.
Two Blade Propeller
The two blade propeller is the go-to choice for most riders. It delivers higher top-end speed and excellent all-round performance, making it ideal for lighter to average-weight riders and standard board and foil setups.
Three Blade Propeller
The three blade propeller is designed for maximum low-end thrust. If you’re a heavier rider, use smaller boards or foils, or want quicker, easier take-offs, this is a great upgrade. It’s also the preferred option for shorter motor positions, as more of the propeller stays in the water, resulting in a smoother, quieter, and more controlled ride.

Not sure which to choose?
If you want speed and efficiency, go two blade. If you want extra power, smoother delivery, and improved lift at lower speeds, the three blade is the better option.
