Refund policy

You may cancel your order within 14 working days of receiving the goods.

To qualify for a refund you must notify us within this period by email or telephone quoting your order number.

Refunds will be issued within 15 days of receiving the returned goods.

Returned goods must be:

  • unused
  • in original condition
  • with tags and packaging intact
  • suitable for resale

The customer is responsible for the cost, risk, and insurance of returning goods.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

PURCHASING FROM OUTSIDE OF THE UK

We at HFS want to be transparent; Due to Brexit, pricing on items is subject to change; this is due to shipping and customs charges. 

All items listed as 'In stock in store' are priced as listed.

Items listed as 'Pre order' or 'in stock to order' may incur increases and we reserve the right to pass these over to you.

However please be aware if ordering from the EU / Worldwide you may be liable for import VAT of your country.

Please budget for these costs - Hydrofoilstore is not responsible for these charges if they are due.

Once we have sent your order, if you reject these importation charges -  you will receive the full refund for the item when it is returned to us minus the total shipping and returns costs and also import VAT back into the UK . (This can take weeks)


DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT IN TRANSIT

The couriers and postal services we use are very good at delivering your order, however when your item(s) arrives please check for damage before signing acceptance. We cannot offer any form of compensation if boards or paddles are damaged in transit and subsequently signed for on delivery.

It is very important that you check the box / board before signing ANY delivery papers, if the outside of the cardboard packaging looks damaged you must sign damaged, failure to do this will mean we will not be able to compensate you.

If your order(s) items do not arrive you must inform us within 2 weeks for us to make a claim , outside of this period we will not be able to help. 
If your item(s) are being collected or signed for on your behalf you must let the person know they should check for any damage to the packaging and sign damaged if they are in any doubt about the condition of the item(s).

Accepting delivery  - If the damage is something you can live with or repair, Please accept the delivery by the courier.
Keep the board boxes and bubble wrap packaging and contact us. 

If however you are not happy with the condition of your items do not accept the delivery even though these are your items. 

Take pictures of the damaged box / items and tell the driver.

We will process a claim with the couriers and then determine a refund to compensate you fairly for the damage.


Use of Products

WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, COST OF COVER, OR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ATTORNEYS’ FEES REGARDLESS OF THE TYPE OF CLAIM (INCLUDING CLAIMS FOR NEGLIGENCE AND NEGLIGENCE PER SE, EVEN IF THE CLAIM ARISES OUT OF OR RELATES TO Cor watersports Ltd’ SOLE, EXCLUSIVE, OR JOINT NEGLIGENCE), ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING, IN ANY WAY, TO THIS AGREEMENT OR THE USE OF Cor watersports Ltd ’ PRODUCTS. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, AND NOTWITHSTANDING THE FAILURE OF ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF ANY REMEDY SET FORTH HEREIN, SHALL Cor watersports Ltd BE LIABLE FOR THIRD PARTY CLAIMS AGAINST YOU FOR DAMAGES OR LOSS, DAMAGE OR DISCLOSURE OF YOUR DATA.


Takuma Liquidated Stock

Takuma products currently being sold originate from a liquidated company.

Because of this:

  • repairs or manufacturer replacements cannot be provided
  • manufacturer warranty may not apply

However, if a product is found to be faulty within 14 days, we will provide a full refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.


Refund and Cancellation Policy

Please note that due to the substantial costs incurred when processing credit and debit card transactions, particularly those of higher value, we have made the difficult decision to apply a cancellation fee should you choose to cancel your order after it has been placed.

This fee will be deducted from your refund and is typically calculated at 1.7% of the transaction amount plus £0.25. However, we reserve the right to adjust this percentage depending on the payment method used, as transaction fees vary between providers.

By placing an order with us, you are deemed to have accepted these terms.

If you would prefer to avoid this charge, you may select the bank transfer option at checkout. Orders paid by bank transfer will be eligible for a full refund in the event of cancellation, as no transaction fee is applied.

These charges are intended solely to recover the direct costs we incur when a transaction is cancelled by the customer and are considered fair and reasonable.

This does not affect your consumer rights under the distance selling act.
