Order Processing

We aim to dispatch your order as quickly as possible. UK Orders are normally shipped within 1–3 business days, depending on the selected delivery method. Larger or specialist items may take longer.

Receipt of your order confirmation indicates that we have received your order, but does not constitute acceptance of the order. A contract between us is formed only once we have confirmed dispatch.

This condition protects us in the event of:

  • pricing errors
  • incorrectly listed products
  • stock availability issues

If a pricing error occurs, we will contact you before processing the order to confirm that the revised price is acceptable.

Orders will only be processed once payment has cleared in full.

Please inspect your order upon arrival. We cannot be held liable for goods damaged in transit or items left at an address other than the one specified on the order.

International Orders, Import VAT & Duties (Important)

Orders shipped outside of the United Kingdom may be subject to:

  • import VAT
  • customs duties
  • brokerage fees
  • local taxes
  • customs clearance charges

These charges are determined by the destination country's customs authority and courier and are not included in our product prices or shipping costs unless explicitly stated.

The recipient (importer) is solely responsible for paying all import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees required by their country.

By placing an international order with Hydrofoil Store, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are the importer of record
  • You are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and import fees
  • These charges may be requested by the courier or customs authority either before delivery or after delivery

Hydrofoil Store has no control over these charges and cannot estimate or guarantee what they may be.

If such charges are billed to Hydrofoil Store due to refusal or non-payment by the recipient, we reserve the right to recover these costs from the customer.

This promotion:

  • applies automatically at checkout
  • is valid while stocks last
  • requires both qualifying products to be added to the basket.

Brexit & Pricing

Hydrofoil Store aims to remain transparent with our customers.

Due to Brexit and ongoing international shipping changes, pricing on some items may be subject to change due to increased shipping, customs, or supplier costs.

Items listed as “In Stock in Store” are priced as listed.

Items listed as “Pre-Order” or “In Stock to Order” may be subject to price increases from suppliers. We reserve the right to pass these increases on to customers, but we will always contact you first before processing the order.


Refusal of Import Charges / Refused Shipments

If a customer refuses to pay import duties, taxes, or customs clearance charges and the shipment is returned to us:

The customer will receive a refund only after the goods have been returned to us, and the following costs will be deducted:

  • original shipping costs
  • return shipping costs
  • courier handling fees
  • any import VAT or duties charged when the goods re-enter the UK
  • any customs administration charges

Please note that international returns due to refused customs charges can take several weeks to process.


VAT for International Orders

Orders shipped outside of the United Kingdom are automatically processed exclusive of UK VAT (-20%) at checkout.

Customers may still be required to pay their country’s import VAT or equivalent taxes upon entry of the goods.

Bank transfer payments are available. Please contact us if you wish to arrange payment via bank transfer.

The delivery address must match the registered address of the credit card used.

We may require a landline telephone number (not mobile) to contact you if there are any issues with your order.

Orders paid via PayPal will be shipped only to the registered PayPal address for fraud prevention and security.


Returns Policy

You may cancel your order within 14 working days of receiving the goods.

To qualify for a refund you must notify us within this period by email or telephone quoting your order number.

Refunds will be issued within 15 days of receiving the returned goods.

Returned goods must be:

  • unused
  • in original condition
  • with tags and packaging intact
  • suitable for resale

The customer is responsible for the cost, risk, and insurance of returning goods.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Damage in Transit

While our couriers are highly reliable, customers must inspect packages before signing for delivery.

If the packaging appears damaged:

  • sign the delivery as DAMAGED
  • take photos
  • notify us immediately

If damaged items are signed for as received in good condition, we may be unable to claim compensation from the courier.


Missing Deliveries

If your order has not arrived, you must inform us within 14 days so that we can initiate a courier investigation.

Claims made after this period may not be possible.


Product Use & Liability

Please read and follow all manufacturer instructions before using any products.

Use of any product signifies acceptance of the following limitation of liability.

Cor Watersports Ltd (t/a Hydrofoil Store) shall not be liable for:

  • lost profits
  • indirect damages
  • incidental damages
  • consequential damages
  • punitive damages
  • legal fees

This applies regardless of the type of claim, including negligence.


Takuma Liquidated Stock

Takuma products currently being sold originate from a liquidated company.

Because of this:

  • repairs or manufacturer replacements cannot be provided
  • manufacturer warranty may not apply

However, if a product is found to be faulty within 14 days, we will provide a full refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
