Based on our original Foil Drive model, but now with a trench.

THE FOIL DRIVE TRENCH is a collaborative board with the legends at Foil Drive. Based on our original Foil Drive model, but now with a trench.

Designed and tested with the team at Foil Drive, this board was specially created to function with the Gen 2 and Gen 2.5 (fusion) systems. With a larger surface area on the bottom, rolled hard edges, and minimal rocker, this board begins to plane as soon as you press go. But don’t let its friendly appearance fool you, it's an absolute weapon on foil. 

Specifically designed with a softer deck pad to ensure you’re comfortable enough to stay on foil for hours.

ABOUT THE BOARD

GENERAL GOAL | THEME OF THE BOARD:

This board is designed to pair perfectly with the Foil Drive Gen 2 and Gen 2.5 systems. 

CONDITIONS IT'S WORKING BEST:

Any conditions. Whatever you usually prone, or downwind with Foil Drive assistance. 

SKILL LEVEL IT'S BEST FOR:

Novice to pro. Just choose size according to level.

WHAT YOU THOUGHT OF WHEN YOU DESIGNED IT?:

I wanted a trench board that would work effortlessly with the Foil Drive Gen 2 system. A board that is designed to get into the air, and on foil as easily as possible, that still has a progressive shape and can be pushed really hard. A true balance of performance and functionality. 

WHAT IT POSSIBLY COMPROMISES ON THEN?:

The rocker is quite flat, so it doesn’t like taking off deep in the pocket on heavy waves. This is not exactly what it has been designed for though. 


SHAPE DETAILS | DESIGN INFO


OUTLINE:

Pulled in nose, parallel mid section, to pulled in tail. The narrower nose and tail help to lay the board over on harder carves without catching a rail. The parallel mid section helps the board track and plane, enabling it to get on foil even quicker. 

RAILS:

Rolled with hard bottom edges. The rolled rails enable the bottom surface area of the board to be as big as possible, enabling earlier planning and more equal volume distribution. The hard edges help water release more efficiently, reducing drag. They are still tucked enough through the mid-rear section to ensure they don’t catch on more radical maneuvers.

ROCKER:

Flatter with subtle nose kick. The flatter rocker helps the board to plane quicker with the assistance of the Foil Drive system. There is a subtle tail kick, which helps keep it out of the way when you are pumping up, or taking off. 

BOTTOM:

Subtle rounded V into flat midsection. The subtle V at the front helps the board on touchdowns, it won’t immediately stick and bog. The flat planing surface through the middle allows the board to glide effortlessly with assistance from the foil drive. 

DECK:

Concave Deck. We have a concave deck to get the rider as close to the foil as possible while maintaining the volume needed. It's a soft concave without any drastic edges so it doesn't trap water on the deck after takeoff. The deck line has been pulled right out to the edge of the rail edge, making the usable deck area as large as possible. 

FINAL STATEMENT:

This is the ultimate board for use with Foil Drive. A fine balance of usability and performance makes this a real winner. If you’re looking for one board to do it all, look no further.

Beth mae ein Statws Stoc yn ei olygu?

Mewn Stoc - Mewn Storfa = Ar gael i'w brynu nawr a'i gasglu yn y siop neu i'w brynu ar-lein nawr i'w ddosbarthu.

Stoc Warws = Mae'r eitemau hyn mewn stoc yn Abertawe er eu bod mewn warws trydydd parti. Gellir casglu eitemau o'r warws hwn o ddydd Llun i ddydd Gwener 8.30am-5pm. Os ydych angen i eitemau gael eu casglu o'n siop efallai y byddwch am ein ffonio i wirio pryd y gallwn gasglu'r rhain i chi.

Mewn Stoc - I'w Archebu = Ar gael ond caniatewch 3-5 diwrnod ychwanegol ar gyfer danfon neu gasglu.

Rhag-archeb = Mae angen archebu'r cynnyrch hwn gan ein cyflenwr a dim ond unwaith y gwneir archeb ymlaen llaw y bydd yn cael ei archebu.
