Description
Designed for riders who want the freedom of foil-assisted surfing without compromising on board performance, the BOLD Roboto combines a surf-inspired shape with a purpose-built recessed trench for integration with the Riift propulsion system.
Its carefully developed hull balances efficient glide, quick take-offs and responsive handling, helping you make the most of every session. From catching waves and carving tight turns to exploring foil-assisted riding in a range of conditions, the Roboto delivers a refined platform for dynamic foiling.
Purpose-Built Trench Design
The Roboto features a custom-shaped recess designed to accommodate the Riift system while keeping the propulsion unit neatly integrated into the underside of the board. This streamlined configuration helps reduce unnecessary drag and turbulence, while positioning the propulsion system closer to the rider’s feet for a more balanced, connected feel.
The recessed layout also allows convenient access for battery changes and system adjustments, making it practical for riders who want to spend more time on the water.
Surf-Inspired Shape and Efficient Glide
The fuller nose provides additional flotation and support when paddling into position, while the predominantly flat rocker encourages efficient forward glide and helps the board accelerate towards take-off.
Subtle bottom contours transition from double concave towards a flatter section, helping the board move smoothly through the water. Carefully shaped tail rails are designed to minimise drag when the board touches down, supporting smoother recoveries and helping you return to flight.
Responsive Handling and Direct Foil Feel
A refined, recessed mast area creates a direct connection between the board and foil, while the board's rigid construction supports precise feedback underfoot. Combined with the integrated propulsion layout, this design helps deliver controlled carving, responsive manoeuvres and a more connected riding experience.
The dual US box foil mounting system also provides adjustment flexibility, allowing you to fine-tune your foil position to suit your preferred setup and riding style.
Choose Your Size
The BOLD Roboto is available in four sizes, allowing you to choose the volume and dimensions that best suit your weight, experience and riding preferences.
| Size | Dimensions (L × W × T) | Volume | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4'6" | 4'6" × 18.3" × 3.2" | 31.5 L | 2.7 kg |
| 5'0" | 5'0" × 18.5" × 3.8" | 39 L | 3.3 kg |
| 5'5" | 5'5" × 19.5" × 3.8" | 49 L | 3.9 kg |
| 5'9" | 5'9" × 20.6" × 4.0" | 59 L | 4.6 kg |
Board weights and dimensions are as specified for the respective sizes.
Smaller volumes offer a more compact platform for riders prioritising manoeuvrability and a direct, performance-oriented feel. Larger volumes provide additional flotation and support, which can be beneficial for paddling, positioning and getting onto the foil.
