Description: This complete foil set up by Go Foil, is the perfect set up for a beginner rider getting into any sort of hydrofoil water sports activity. The overall set up gives slower lift and more stability with the designed curves and the shorter mast is built to build confidence with the lift for the rider on top. This set up has barely been used and the condition is really really good- definitely a good deal for someone starting up into the hydro foiling world!
Comes with mast bag and front and rear covers as shown in images.

Lift characteristics
The GT1250 develops strong, progressive low-speed lift rather than an abrupt "pop" onto the foil.
This gives it several advantages:
- Easy, predictable take-offs.
- Excellent stability while accelerating.
- Low stall speed.
- Long glide between pumps.
- Good resistance to breaching thanks to excellent pitch control.
Compared with many older Go Foil wings (such as the NL series), the GT1250 is noticeably more composed fore-and-aft, making it easier to maintain a constant flying height.
Best rider weights
Approximate rider recommendations:

For your weight (around 95 kg), the GT1250 sits in a real sweet spot. It provides enough lift for easy starts without feeling oversized once you're flying.
Best disciplines
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Surf Foiling
Probably where the GT1250 excels most.
- Early lift into waves.
- Fast enough for shoulder-high surf.
- Excellent carving.
- Easy recovery after touching wing tips.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wake Foiling
The wing generates lift at relatively low towing speeds and pumps efficiently back to the wake.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SUP Foiling
Ideal for:
- Paddle-in surf foiling.
- Small swell.
- Learning SUP foil techniques.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Light-wind Downwind
Go Foil specifically highlights the GT1250 as a light-wind downwind wing. It offers excellent glide while remaining manoeuvrable enough for linking bumps.
⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Wing Foiling
A good freeride choice:
- Approximately 15–25 knots.
- Medium-sized riders.
- Fast enough to keep progressing.
- Not as specialised as modern race or ultra-high-aspect wings.

We recommend picking up SUP boards in person
The shipping / postage of your item(s) will be automatically calculated based on weight/size. (in some cases ie Highlands of Scotland, there may be an additional surcharge)
We use Royal Mail for small items and TNT for larger items which require a signature at time of arrival.
FREE UK SHIPPING - This applies on some items and is sometimes displayed - however this is only for U.K orders and Excludes Scottish Highlands & Europe and Rest of the World.

What do our Stock Statuses mean?
In Stock - In Store = Available to buy now & collect in store or buy online now for delivery.
In Stock - Storage Hub = These items are in stock in Swansea although stored in a third party Storage Hub. Items can be collected from the Storage Hub Monday - Friday 8.30am-5pm. If you require items to be collected from our store you may want to call us to check when we can collect these for you.
In Stock - To Order = Available but allow an additional 5-10 days for delivery or collection. Please contact us for additional information.
Pre-Order = This product needs to be ordered from our supplier and will only be ordered once a pre order is made. Or we've made an order from our supplier and stock is due to arrive at some date in the future, this date will be communicated where possible on product the page.
Out Of Stock = This product is no longer available, or we are waiting for a confirmed date for when new stock will arrive.
We reserve the right to refund your purchase should stock not be available to ourselves at the time of ordering.
