Designed specifically for pump foiling and dock starts, the Dockstar provides a stable, reliable launch platform engineered for repeated use in demanding coastal or fresh water environments.

Manufactured in the UK using industrial-grade aluminium, the Dockstar combines lightweight portability with exceptional strength and durability.

Main platform: 2.0m x 0.33m

Adjustable height settings
910 / 950 / 990mm, plus 80mm of fine height adjustment to accommodate beach gradients.

Optional side cantilever platform
Length: 1.8m x 0.33m (select at time of ordering)

Lightweight yet robust construction
Mill-finish aluminium frame with serrated round rungs for secure footing.

High-grip decking
“Hexagrip” phenolic-faced plywood surface (board wax recommended for barefoot use).

Enhanced stability
Offset lateral stabilising bar with wide stance and durable plastic feet.

Secure locking system
Folding spigots, captive wing nuts, and diagonal braces with drop-nose pins.

5-Rung Elevated Option

For riders launching in surf or choppy conditions, the 5-rung version offers increased clearance:

-  Platform height: 1450mm

-  Improved wave passage beneath the platform

Care & Maintenance

Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after use. Prolonged saltwater exposure may lead to corrosion if not properly cleaned.

The Dockstar is designed for experienced users. Riders are strongly advised to wear appropriate protective equipment, including helmets and impact vests.

We at The Hydrofoil Store want to be transparent;

The UK have left Europe, orders leaving the UK for the EU, will exclude UK VAT at 20%

Our website now removes UK VAT when displaying prices and at the checkout, once you've selected your shipping country.

However please be aware if ordering from EU you may be liable for import VAT of your country. Please budget for these costs - The Hydrofoil Store is not responsible for these charges if they are due. Once we have sent your order, if you reject these importation charges - you will receive the full refund for the item when it is returned to us minus the total shipping and returns costs.

All items listed as 'In stock in store' are priced as listed.

Items listed as 'Pre order' or 'in stock to order' may incur increases and we reserve the right to pass these over to you.

We recommend picking up SUP boards in person

The shipping / postage of your item(s) will be automatically calculated based on weight/size. (in some cases ie Highlands of Scotland, there may be an additional surcharge)

We use Royal Mail for small items and TNT for larger items which require a signature at time of arrival.

FREE UK SHIPPING - This applies on some items and is sometimes displayed - however this is only for U.K orders and Excludes Scottish Highlands & Europe and Rest of the World.

Please note If postage is not calculated there may be a problem with your order / In the case of a change of delivery price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. POSTAGE IS FOR U.K MAINLAND ONLY.

We will not accept any liability for any damaged goods if the DELIVERY is not signed for as ‘DAMAGED’

What do our Stock Statuses mean?

In Stock - In Store = Available to buy now & collect in store or buy online now for delivery.

In Stock - Storage Hub = These items are in stock in Swansea although stored in a third party Storage Hub. Items can be collected from the Storage Hub Monday - Friday 8.30am-5pm. If you require items to be collected from our store you may want to call us to check when we can collect these for you.

In Stock - To Order = Available but allow an additional 5-10 days for delivery or collection. Please contact us for additional information.

Pre-Order = This product needs to be ordered from our supplier and will only be ordered once a pre order is made. Or we've made an order from our supplier and stock is due to arrive at some date in the future, this date will be communicated where possible on product the page.

Out Of Stock = This product is no longer available, or we are waiting for a confirmed date for when new stock will arrive.

We reserve the right to refund your purchase should stock not be available to ourselves at the time of ordering.
