The lightweight 84 cm carbon eMast D/LAB has been engineered for low drag, excellent rigidity and precise handling. Its integrated motor and folding propeller disappear into the foil's profile when you're riding under wave power, helping maintain the smooth, unrestricted glide that makes foiling so addictive.

When you need power again, the folding propeller deploys instantly to provide smooth, responsive assistance.

And because the batteries sit comfortably around your hips rather than on your board, the D/LAB maintains a clean, natural foil setup with minimal additional drag.

Built for Performance

eMast D/LAB – 84 cm

The D/LAB eMast is the lightest and most advanced model in the Foil Assist range.

Constructed from lightweight carbon, its slim profile delivers precise turning, excellent rigidity and impressive top-end speed.

The motor pod is seamlessly integrated into the mast profile, positioned just 17 cm below the top plate. This helps minimise drag and maintains a streamlined profile, including during touchdowns.

The two-blade folding propeller is designed to reduce drag when you're powered by the wave. When it's time to power back out, the integrated gear system instantly deploys the propeller for a smooth transition back to electric assistance.

The eMast attaches to your board and fuselage like a conventional foil mast and works with foilboards from most major brands.

Recommended setup for optimum battery performance:

• Front wing: 900 cm² or larger
• Board volume: 35 L or larger

The D/LAB eMast is also compatible with Duotone and Armstrong foils when used with the specially designed compatible fuselage.

eHarness – Keep Your Board Light

The Foil Assist's two compact batteries are housed in a waterproof battery box mounted to a lightweight eHarness weighing approximately 3.76 kg.

By carrying the batteries around your hips rather than on the board, the system keeps additional weight and drag away from the foil setup.

The result is a more natural, fluid riding experience with plenty of freedom of movement.

The eHarness is buoyant and easy to remove, while a neatly routed cable runs alongside the shorter board leash to connect the batteries to the eMast.

The battery box also houses the receiver, providing a reliable connection between the remote and motor throughout your session.

eRemote Watch Ring – Total Control, Hands Free

The waterproof Foil Assist Remote uses a smartwatch-style design with a finger ring, allowing you to control the motor without tying up either hand.

It's ideal for foiling activities where you need your hands free to:

Motor control is simple:

• Double-click + to activate the motor

Battery & Charging

The Foil Assist D/LAB includes a dedicated charger capable of fully charging both batteries in under one hour.

The charger also includes a discharge function designed to help maintain battery health and maximise long-term battery performance.

Runtime & Travel

Depending on rider weight, riding ability, foil setup and conditions, the batteries provide approximately 25–40 minutes of runtime per charge.

The battery system is designed to be air-travel-friendly, making the Foil Assist D/LAB an excellent option for riders who want to take their electric foil assist system on trips and surf adventures.

Important Setup Information

For optimum battery performance, the manufacturer recommends using the D/LAB eMast with a front wing of at least 900 cm² and a board with a minimum volume of 35 L.

The D/LAB eMast uses a 3BS connection. Compatibility with Duotone and Armstrong foil systems requires the appropriate Foil Assist compatible fuselage.
