Foil Drive | NORTH Sonar Integrated UHM80 Mast

FD250-1

For greater glide and quicker turns, the North Ultra High Modulus Carbon Foil Drive Mast is 25% thinner and features a 14% shorter chord length than the AF80 FD Mast.
This almost eliminates drag and significantly increases manoeuvrability, so you'll accelerate faster onto foil and experience more efficient glide once you're up.

The UHM Mast features a state-of-the-art monocoque design, with the motor pod seamlessly faired into the mast 18cm from the baseplate - the perfect balance for Assist with the propeller submerged, yet high enough to avoid interference when you’re up on foil. At 80cm ride height, it’s ideal for assisted prone surf and downwind foiling, with minimal battery consumption. 

Please note: this is the mast ONLY and does not come with an integrated motor. We recommend purchasing the Motor available here Integrated HP motor

Compatible With

The Mast is compatible with both the V2 Standard Motor and the HP Motor - so if you already own a Foil Drive and your existing motor has the V2 plug in the back, you’re good to go.

Note: The motor pod is fixed into position on each mast and the position cannot be removed or changed. Fully internal wiring connects to the Foil Drive system.

We recommend pairing the UHM80 FDA18 Mast with the Integrated Mast HP Motor Set, (SKU FD255; includes Stator, Motor, 3-Blade Propeller, 1x Stubby Cooler Propeller Cover). The HP Motor Set is sold separately or available as a complete set together with the Mast from Foil Drive.

Once we have sent your order, if you reject these importation charges - you will receive the full refund for the item when it is returned to us minus the total shipping and returns costs.

All items listed as 'In stock in store' are priced as listed.

Items listed as 'Pre order' or 'in stock to order' may incur increases and we reserve the right to pass these over to you.

Delivery / Returns

We recommend picking up SUP boards in person

The shipping / postage of your item(s) will be automatically calculated based on weight/size. (in some cases ie Highlands of Scotland, there may be an additional surcharge)

We use Royal Mail for small items and TNT for larger items which require a signature at time of arrival.

FREE UK SHIPPING - This applies on some items and is sometimes displayed - however this is only for U.K orders and Excludes Scottish Highlands & Europe and Rest of the World.

Please note If postage is not calculated there may be a problem with your order / In the case of a change of delivery price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. POSTAGE IS FOR U.K MAINLAND ONLY.

What do our Stock Statuses mean?

In Stock - In Store = Available to buy now & collect in store or buy online now for delivery.

In Stock - Storage Hub = These items are in stock in Swansea although stored in a third party Storage Hub. Items can be collected from the Storage Hub Monday - Friday 8.30am-5pm. If you require items to be collected from our store you may want to call us to check when we can collect these for you.

In Stock - To Order = Available but allow an additional 5-10 days for delivery or collection. Please contact us for additional information.

Pre-Order = This product needs to be ordered from our supplier and will only be ordered once a pre order is made. Or we've made an order from our supplier and stock is due to arrive at some date in the future, this date will be communicated where possible on product the page.

Out Of Stock = This product is no longer available, or we are waiting for a confirmed date for when new stock will arrive.

We reserve the right to refund your purchase should stock not be available to ourselves at the time of ordering.
