The MAX Starter Kit is the full MAX system, paired with the Standard Motor and Sport Battery. Everything you need to get on the water and start riding. 

The Standard Motor delivers plenty of power across all disciplines, and the Sport Battery gives you enough runtime for a quality session. The MAX system itself is identical to every other MAX configuration; same build quality, same V3 controller, same compatibility across the Foil Drive ecosystem.

What is included in MAX starter kit 

The MAX Starter Kit includes the Assist MAX system, a Sport Battery, and a Standard Complete Motor. The Sport Battery and Standard Motor are both included at 50% off for a limited time.

is the standard motor powerful enough ?

Yes. The Standard Motor delivers plenty of power for all Foil Drive disciplines and is an excellent option for learning, progression, and everyday riding. Add the Blue LR6 propellors for a serious and credible upgrade to power and battery performance / longevity . 

How long does the sport battery last ?

Runtime varies depending on rider weight, foil setup, conditions, and riding style. The Sport Battery is designed to provide enough runtime for quality sessions while keeping the overall package more affordable.

Can i upgrade components later ?

When you're ready to push further, add the High Power Motor for a more efficient, higher performance ride. Step up to the High Power Battery for extended runtime. Refine your propeller configuration to dial in power delivery for your specific discipline and riding style. Each component can be upgraded individually, so you're only ever paying for what you actually need, when you need it.

The UK have left Europe, orders leaving the UK for the EU, will exclude UK VAT at 20%

Our website now removes UK VAT when displaying prices and at the checkout, once you've selected your shipping country.

However please be aware if ordering from EU you may be liable for import VAT of your country. Please budget for these costs - The Hydrofoil Store is not responsible for these charges if they are due. Once we have sent your order, if you reject these importation charges - you will receive the full refund for the item when it is returned to us minus the total shipping and returns costs.

All items listed as 'In stock in store' are priced as listed.

Items listed as 'Pre order' or 'in stock to order' may incur increases and we reserve the right to pass these over to you.

We recommend picking up SUP boards in person

The shipping / postage of your item(s) will be automatically calculated based on weight/size. (in some cases ie Highlands of Scotland, there may be an additional surcharge)

We use Royal Mail for small items and TNT for larger items which require a signature at time of arrival.

FREE UK SHIPPING - This applies on some items and is sometimes displayed - however this is only for U.K orders and Excludes Scottish Highlands & Europe and Rest of the World.

Please note If postage is not calculated there may be a problem with your order / In the case of a change of delivery price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. POSTAGE IS FOR U.K MAINLAND ONLY.

What do our Stock Statuses mean?

In Stock - In Store = Available to buy now & collect in store or buy online now for delivery.

In Stock - Storage Hub = These items are in stock in Swansea although stored in a third party Storage Hub. Items can be collected from the Storage Hub Monday - Friday 8.30am-5pm. If you require items to be collected from our store you may want to call us to check when we can collect these for you.

In Stock - To Order = Available but allow an additional 5-10 days for delivery or collection. Please contact us for additional information.

Pre-Order = This product needs to be ordered from our supplier and will only be ordered once a pre order is made. Or we've made an order from our supplier and stock is due to arrive at some date in the future, this date will be communicated where possible on product the page.

Out Of Stock = This product is no longer available, or we are waiting for a confirmed date for when new stock will arrive.

We reserve the right to refund your purchase should stock not be available to ourselves at the time of ordering.
