The Super K2 Drive retains the balanced, confidence-inspiring feel that made the original Super K2 so popular. It remains stable through kneeling take-offs, standing, accelerates cleanly onto foil, and feels composed once flying.
With the foil recessed closer to the rider, the connection feels noticeably more direct and reactive through turns. Careful volume distribution around the trench keeps the board balanced rather than corky or oversized, preserving the surf-oriented carving character of the Super K2.
Trench Geomery.
The trench remains wide and long enough for easy battery swaps with the Foil Drive installed.
Across the range, volume has been reduced by approximately 5L compared with standard Super K 2 models of similar dimensions, integrating the Foil Drive system without compromising balance, handling, or takeoff efficiency.
Removable Carbon Trench Cover.
Ryan Arzy and KT Foiling set out to solve one of the biggest compromises of conventional trench board design. A tightly fitted trench has previously been the standard to minimize drag, but makes battery changes impossible. In almost all cases, riders needed to loosen or completely remove the Foil Drive every time they want to swap batteries. Opening the trench enough for easy battery access solves that problem, but creates larger exposed surfaces that can increase drag during takeoff and touchdowns.
The solution is the all new Removable Carbon Trench Cover, developed by KT Foiling in collaboration with Cobra Internationlal.
The trench remains wide and long enough for easy battery swaps with the Foil Drive installed, while the carbon cover closes the exposed area during riding. Secured with three short T30 screws, it can be quickly removed when battery access is needed and reinstalled for maximum hydrodynamic efficiency.
Riders can even experience the difference directly by riding the board both with and without the cover.
The result is a Foil Drive integration designed not only around performance, but around how riders actually use the system every day.
Across the range, volume has been reduced by approximately 5L compared with standard Super K 2 models of similar dimensions, integrating the Foil Drive system without compromising balance, handling, or takeoff efficiency.
Speed.
The Super K2 Drive accelerates efficiently onto foil and carries speed cleanly once flying. During takeoff and surface contact, the carbon trench cover reduces the amount of exposed trench interacting with the water, helping the board release cleanly and skip through touchdowns without the sticky feeling associated with larger open trenches.
Shape.
Refined Super K 2 midlength outline tuned for early lift, balanced stability, glide, and surf-style carving. Foil Drive specific recessed trench positioned to maintain balanced foot pressure and consistent foil control. Revised 35L and 45L outlines provide additional stability for offset and strapped riding while accommodating the extended battery-access trench.
Agility.
With our lightest, strongest carbon high density sandwich layup, the Super K 2 Drive remains responsive and maneuverable. Bringing the foil closer to the board reduces the distance between the rider and foil, making inputs feel more immediate, lively, and connected. Updated strap insert positioning supports a more surf-oriented offset stance, reducing heelside bias and helping keep the rider centered over the foil for cleaner turns and improved control.
Construction.
Pro Carbon with Foil Drive Integration.
• Extra Lightweight Core: EPS core wrapped in a multilayer full-carbon high-density frame.
• Pro Carbon Full Sandwich: Biaxial and unidirectional carbon high-density sandwich construction for maximum stiffness and impact resistance.
• Reinforced impact zones: High-stress areas reinforced for repeated impacts and long-term durability.
• Full high-density build: High-density construction throughout the deck and bottom for consistent stiffness and strength.
• Signal-ready windows: Integrated fiberglass windows tuned for reliable 2.4 GHz Foil Drive reception connectivity.
• Foil Drive–specific recessed trench system.
• Extended trench length and width for battery access with the Drive installed.
• Compatible with Foil Drive MAX+, MAX, and Slim.
• Removable carbon trench cover secured with three T30 screws.
• Revised 35L and 45L dimensions for increased stability and balanced volume distribution.
• Updated surf-style strap insert positioning with reduced heelside bias.
• Solid State vent plug eliminating failure points and leaks.
Pads & Straps.
• Updated surf strap positioning: More surf-oriented offset stance reduces heelside bias and keeps the rider centered over the foil.
• Refined lightweight slotted traction.
• Maximum grip at reduced weight.
• Reduced thickness for improved board feel and control.
Includes Adjustable MFC front and rear internally adjustable foot straps with hardware.
• Surf-style insert pattern with slight offset options for centered, balanced directional riding, reducing heel side bias and keeping you aligned over the foil.
• Closer ½ ” strap insert increments offer more adjustability.
• Centers your stance and center of mass over the board and foil, instead of loading weight too far onto the heel side like traditional wingfoil slalom or racing patterns.
• Straps offer a more locked-in, powerful feel through carves, more control through jibes, and now controlled narrow snowboard stance options.
Track Boxes.
New 14” Universal Track System.
• In house designed 14 inch reinforced foil specific track boxes.
• Puncture resistant elevated channels for durability and compatibility across mast lengths and hardware types.
